What is Keep Peoria Beautiful?

Keep Peoria Beautiful is a not-for-profit and educational organization committed to improving the environment of the Peoria area through beautification, awareness, education and recycling.

What We Do

Great American Clean Up

  • Over 1,200 volunteers
  • Over 18 tons of litter collected
  • City-wide participation


Litter Prevention & Recycling Education

  • Presentations to second grades in District 150 and many parochial schools


Beautification Grants

  • Enabled organizations to initiate/complete landscaping projects


Kumpf Boulevard Beautification Project

  • Enhance this thoroughfare and entryway into the City with landscaping and ornamental street lighting


Adopt - A - Block Program

  • Encourage downtown business owners to maintain sidewalks and planters
  • Inform business owners of landscape maintenance and ornamental lighting options
